In a final push to expunge my stash of yarn, leftover from from three generations (including me), I started stranding and crocheting five yarns at a time in an improvisational approach to create a celebration of color. The result is a rug ideal for winter meditation and reclining yoga, adding warmth to my winter practice. It also provides added cushioning and warmth for cool evenings outdoors in a lounger. This was a fun, fast and spontaneous summer project.
